Do athletes get it easy in school? (Gabby)

In my opinion I don’t think that athletes get it easy in school. As an athlete myself I find it really challenging. Other than having to stay after school for practice and having to keep your grades up you don’t really get it easy in school. Athletes are obligated to keep their grades 60% or higher if not you will not be able to condition and play the next game. Athletes have the same rules as any other student, if you get in a fight you’re out of the team no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Another thing is that by the time you get out of practice you don’t feel like doing anything and sometimes don’t even do your homework because you get too tiered and that also makes your grades drop. On Wednesdays other students get to leave early but for athletes you have to stay for study hall to finish and turn in missing work. Being an athlete is actually a really great way to keep your grades up and attendance on good. On days that you have games you sometimes don’t get home ‘till 8 and that doesn’t help you in finishing any work you had to do. Athletes don’t get it easy in school and don’t get it easy with any other teacher just because their athletes. Every athlete has the same rules and the same obligation as any other student in school and sometimes they are obligated to do even more than others.
