Performance Enhancing Drugs (Gabby)

Performance enhancing is being used more and more by the years and is becoming a habit to some athletes. In my opinion doing drugs on your sport is just cheating on your own passion for it. It’s making it easier for the people who don’t know how to work hard for something or at least upgrade on their own health. I don’t believe that athletes should be allowed to use a drug to make them stronger or faster. Athletes are supposed to be role models for the younger people who look up to them and to their own children as well. By them taking drugs for better performance in their sport it will make the younger children that admire them think the same way and they will start doing the same thing as the athletes. Taking drugs to become faster and stronger isn’t teaching anybody any lessons on how to work hard for what you want in life. Also athletes that take drugs aren’t really doing any good for their own health. Drugs can cause you to get cancer, change of hormones or other serious conditions. Also athletes that take drugs for better performance in their sport are making themselves look selfish by taking the fame away from other athletes that do work hard for what they want without using any drugs. I honestly don’t get what the point of using drugs is on an athlete, if they became what they are it’s because they were willing to give their sweat into it!
