I believe that Napoleon Complex is a small person acting
tough to make up for something. Most of the times for his lack of size.
I actually did
know someone like this and he did the same things to me that Curley does or
tries to do to Lennie. He would hit me, but of course, it wouldn’t hurt me. At
one point I did get mad and hit him and from then on he became a little more
feisty. Now I haven’t even seen him around.
This Complex
relates to Curley in EVERY aspect it shows and tells you. Curley is trying to
make up for his lack of size. I think it also is because people have a lack of
confidence in their bodys and they want good, cool, nice things to make up for
things that they think is bad.
