Challenges (Angel R)

Do you think that teen pregnancy is a big issue at Wyandotte for teens? Describe the consequences of having a baby? Describe the challenges these young parents face? Do you think that teen mothers and fathers take equal responsibility or do you think that the males have it easier?
Teen pregnancy is the biggest issue facing the teens at Wyandotte, because there are a lot of girls that go here and are pregnant and that now more teens are getting pregnant it makes other teens want to have a baby so they go have sex with the first person that says that he wants her to have his babies, then she’s stuck with the baby while he’s some where else. The consequences of  having a baby while your young is that you would have to take care of another human being and that means you have to find a babysitter or a day care for the baby to go to while your at school, doing homework is going to be harder, everything you use to be able to do you can’t cause you have a kid and you have a responsibility to do. The challenges these parents face are how they would take care of another, how they’re going to feed the baby how are they going to get the money to buy the baby clothes, pampers, formula,  bottles. Teen mothers and fathers do not take equal  responsibility when taking care of a child because the mom is going to spend most of her time taking care of the baby when the father is going to be sleeping, working, or out with his friends while she’s stuck at home with the baby. And when the baby cries at night she’s going to get up every time to go see what’s wrong with the baby not him he will get his rest while she’s tired all the time and doesn’t feel like doing anything cause she’s taking care of the baby.

  3. I liked how you said that everything would be different because of their baby. You were making the male look like a bad person but have you ever thought about what if the mother leaves her daughter or son with the father? The father would be the one to get up in the middle of the night and pay babysitting. I understand why you gave the bad role to the male, it's probably because that's what you mostly see now a days. But try to think out of the box and argue with your thinking. Other than that you did a good job :)
