Dark side of sports (jaden)

Enhancement drugs are bad because they kill the cells to create bigger ones, which soon will die off. I think enhancement drugs is just another form of cheating, It’s like if you can’t beat a level on a game then what do you do…You go look for cheat codes, Cheating, same thing for athletes they look for a way to finish faster without having to do all the work. I believe our country cares a little too much about sports, Everywhere you go you see sports, Television, Cereal Boxes, Shoes and Ads for companies that have nothing to do with sports, like Drew Brees on that Nyquil commercial. Sports play a big part of society. Everyone wants to be apart of some type of sport nowadays. Sports are everything to some people according to that new Addidas commercial. I don’t think athlete’s put them selves above everybody else; I think people just place them higher than they should be. People act like someone in sports or on television have superpowers that make them different, but they’re just a human just like you and me. Putting athletes above everybody can be a good thing and a bad thing. Some athletes might get cocky and think he’s better than everyone, thinking he has no responsibility, waste all his money on big houses and cars then end up with no money at the end of his career, Other athletes might do something good to help out there community, like Dwayne Wade did. He took his money and made a library in his old community that he lived in as a young child.

Sports in School (Jaden)

I believe athletes have it harder in school, because I hear teacher say all the time “You better listen or I’m tellin’ coach” or “If you don’t pay attention in class and get your work done your not playing on Saturday”.  Athletes have to meet after school everyday and workout for 2-3 hours and some have to come after school everyday and some days on weekends. I do think they get away with a lot of thing like when they get in trouble; they have an entire team to lie for him or on somebody else.

 Girls being on guys sports is a bad thing, I think they should talk to the district and try to start an all girl team. The problem with girls being on guy sports is they take up to much time, they would need there own dressing room, they need more care, so if they get hurt it would take longer to figure out what’s wrong and they’d probably be crying so it would be hard for figuring out what there saying or what there answering.

I think sports are good in school. I think it’s just another way for kids to escape what ever their going through. Plus it makes a college application a little more interesting, it’s letting them know that you were and still will be involved with there school and it could provide scholarships for students who don’t have enough money to pay to get into the school.

American Art (Jaden)

Yes, I believe art play an important role because just by seeing art can change your mood or how you feel. If we didn’t have art I think the world would be a very boring place. Everywhere you go you see art. School, We have our mascot the Bulldog that’s a form of artwork. Art makes you feel better. Just seeing a smiley face can cheer a person up.

If I had to get a tattoo to represent adulthood it would be an all black crown. I would choose a black crown because it’s my favorite album from the band Suicide Silence, The black would represent rebellion, me owning myself, and not having other people have to tell me what and how to do thing.
If I had the power to censor anything I would like and not have any one else ever see it again what would it be? I wouldn’t censor anything because every artist thinks differently. Some people may not like it but that doesn’t mean you have to take it away from the art. People who don’t like the art or think it’s too inappropriate for eyes to see should decide to not even look at the art. An artist makes what he thinks or feels so it shouldn’t be hidden, put away or placed where you can’t even see it.
