Is teen pregnancy the biggest issue facing teens at
Wyandotte? What are the consequences of having babies while young? What are the
challenges these parents face? Do the mothers and fathers take equal
responsibility or do you feel that males have it easier?
I think Teen pregnancy is the biggest issue facing
Wyandotte. If you have babies while young, your life pretty much sucks. You
have to carry a babe inside you for 9 months then go threw all that pain to
have the babe and if you wanna go out with some friends or go out to party’s
you cant anymore because you have to stay home taking care of your babe while
all your friends go out and have fun without you because you choose to get
pregnant at a young age. I think mostly the mother has more responsibility,
because the guy always chooses to leave or says its not his kid because he
dosent want to be dealing with a babe yet. And the mom has to do everything
herself. But sometimes the guy is responsible and chooses to stay with her and
the babe and there all together and helps out with the kid, it depends on the
type of guy you get. I think males do have it easier because if they don’t want
to be with them he dosent have to, maybe he’ll have to pay child support or
something but he dosent have to be taking care of the babe, changing diapers
and a lot more stuff the mother has to do.
I disagree there aren't that many girls that arepregnant at wyandotte.
