Does art play an important role in your society? How would it affect if there was no more art?

I think art plays a very important role in our society. Art makes this world would be colorless and dull. With out art everything would be boring the littlest things can be considered art. I think if we no longer had art some happiness would be gone. Colors would no longer have a meaning. People would lose inspiration. Things wouldn’t be interesting. Art can change your way of thinking! With out art this world would be dull. Art is beauty. Art expresses feelings. Art expresses colors. Art can bring you happiness and sadness. Art can give therapy as well. If there was no longer art in my community everything would be ugly and sad. Imagine living with out colors and designs and all those beautiful things. I think it would even be boring! Cultures and traditions would be destroyed. If you think about it pretty much everything has art in it. Everywhere you look there is art. With out art we would be nothing. Art inspires. Art is creation. Art is life. Art is passion. Art is everything and everywhere.

Do you think art plays an important role in our society? What would happen if we no longer had any art? What would the world be like? Why do we need art?

I think art does play an important role in our society because its just a part of life. Art is everywhere and without art our world would just be like pain and simple and also very boring. Art is like life and there's a lot of people who make art for a living and they would have to find something else to do. Art is beautiful and yes we do need art. I think we will always need art and also cause it can change a persons life or change someone to a good person or a bad person. Without art our would be dark cold and pretty much weird. Cause art is everywhere if you think about it, its on your clothes your jewlry, shoes, all your stuff, everything has art to it if you think about it. Its kinda crazy but yea art is really important. Without art everything would be black & white right? Cause color counts as art, that’s how arts created with color & designs. I think art is amazing and beautiful it does so many things good and bad well it depends on how your using it and with what your using it but art is a huge part of society and also a huge part of life and I think always will be.

Do you think art plays an important role in our society? What would happen if we no longer had ANY art? What would the world be like? Why do we need art?

Is art an important thing in our world? What would happened if art was lost in our world? What would the world come to? Why do I think we need art.

Yes art to me is and important this in our world. Some people need art for different reasons in their life. If we didn’t have any art in our world anymore the people who loves art would probably be lost. To some people art is their life and art is everything. I personally think that everybody haves on specific thing in their life that expresses how they feel and makes them happy. Just like me, I use writing to express how I feel without talking to someone. Some people don’t like to talk to other people about their problems like me, and without saying it you can write it or draw it  and use art. Using art to express your feelings  you can kind of beat around the bush. You can feel a certain way and draw a picture of how you feel in that way and some people wouldn’t get it and some people will. If we had no art the world wouldn’t come to an end but the people who likes art would probably have a harder life. If you have something that you can use without telling someone something you can just express it on a piece of paper then it would be hard to .

Tattoos (Alan)

If you had to get a tattoo what would it be and why?

Cultures all around tattoo them selves to show that they are maturing and growing into adulthood. Others tattoo themselves to show their religion and culture. If I had to get a tattoo to mark my transition into adulthood I would chose to get a tattoo of God or Jesus and Virgin Mary and my family’s last name also. I would get those tattoos because I’m catholic and to show respect and love. They’ve always helped with me like they cured me when I was in surgery and saved me from almost dying. They also have blessed my family and me and have helped my family also. The reason I would tattoo my family’s last name is to represent and show my family that I care about the family. My family and everything about church mean everything to me. Like to show I care I would also tattoo myself my mom’s last name, which is Castor to also show that I care about my mom’s family. The only reason I wouldn’t tattoo myself is if it’s not worth nothing like stars or other designs. I really don’t like tattoos but like I said before only if it’s for family or if it’s for God and Virgin Mary and all the other saints. I will always show respect for God and all the other saints and for my family.

1.   Do you think art plays an important role in our society? What would happen if we no longer had ANY art? What would the world be like? Why do we need art? 
Yes I think art plays an important role in our society because art is an inspiration. When people see art they will see a different out look on life. They will know there’s more to life than what they make it. If we no longer had art our world would be out of control. I say it will be out of control because without inspiration people will start doing crazy things and being more violent than before. The world would also be plain and boring because art brings color to our world. So without color and art then it will be plain, there will be no character, and there will be no personalities. Basically everyone will be the same because art give different personalities but without it everyone will be the same, do the same thing, and act the same.

2.   You have been granted the power to Censor (decide what is acceptable for everyone) all the Art in our country. What would you keep people from? Why?

I would keep people away from art that provoke people to kill other people. For example if an artist draw or paint someone stabbing, shooting, or killing another person and having blood everywhere. I would keep people away from this because it’s not setting a good example. That is an inspiration on a person. A person thinks that if an artist draws or paints something like that then it’s ok to do it. I would also keep people away from this kind of art because it brings negativity to the world and that’s not what art is about.

3.   In many cultures Tattoos mark the transition into adulthood. If you had to get a tattoo to mark becoming an adult, what would it be? Why? Would you refuse to get one? Why?

I would get a tattoo on my thigh that says “BEAUTIFUL” with a bow below it. I would get this tattoo because it describes me. I would get this tattoo on my thigh because no one can see it. Also I am too skinny to get a tattoo on my arm or back. I would also get the tattoo that says “BEAUTIFUL” with a bow below it because I think that would fit me and it would be cute on me.
