I would define the American dream as getting a better education or to live on my own and care for myself. I believe that the dream from the past has changed because blacks and Mexicans have better rights now than back then. The positives are that there are laws that perfect the rights of these people, and there are so many people from many races that help each other to reach their dreams just like the teachers from Wyandotte high. The negative is that there is races that want to get rid of rights for them and don’t want them around.

My American dream is to be a cosmetologist. I also hope to own my own house and be married to a loving man and start a family. My greatest strength I already know how to fix hair nails and make up because I practice on my mom’s hair. What prevents me to try is that people who don’t believe me or trust in me. Another thing that is preventing me to do that is my grades that may interfere on what I may want to be when I get older or to complete my American dream. Another thing it that I may get pregnant or have a baby and that will take most of my time away then I wont be able to follow my goals.

American Dream

1.     The American dream Was When Someone Was Wanting a Better Life With A Farm, Property, and Even a House. People that Lived Over seas Also Want To Live the American Dream, or even People That Didn’t Have a Good Life in the Long Run. The Good Thing about America is that America have Rights. And We Live our Rights So that We Don’t Go Through the Bad Times in the Past.

2.     My American Dream is to Live in a 2-Story house, but the only Way I can Do that is to succeed in School, Get My Business Degree to Be able to Live my Dream, and My dream is to become and NFL Player, But if I don’t fulfill my dream, I have a Back-up Plan. My Back up Plan is to become an Architect. I usually have Good reasons to fulfill my Back up Plan, I Just need a master’s and Bachelor’s degree For That.

American Dream

I think that the American dream is being better than the generation. I think that the American dream has changed overtime because there is more jobs available even though the economy is still pretty bad. Something good about this country is that my family has jobs. Something bad about the U.S is that the economy is really bad. Something else that is good is that some people in the U.S are really nice. Another bad thing is the racist people. Also they took down Osama bin laden so that is also a very very good thing.so now I don’t have to worry of getting on a plane and crashing into a building.

My American dream is to have a good job when I graduate from high school and I also want to have a great family. In my future I want to be a better and more responsible person than I am right now. I think I will have to work on what I think is my American dream. I will have to try harder in school and learn how to earn my money so I would have to get a job. I think that a lot of thing could prevent my American dream but most of all I think that the laws and economy could and would prevent from me getting and having what I think is my American dream.

I was studying about the American dream and I found out on a website called “spark notes” it read about a man that speaks about happiness, “The pursuit of happiness,’” McMahon writes, “was launched in different, and potentially conflicting, directions from the start, with private pleasure and public welfare coexisting in the same phrase. For Jefferson, so quintessentially in this respect a man of the Enlightenment, the coexistence was not a problem.” But Jefferson’s formula almost immediately lost its double meaning in practice, McMahon notes, and the right of citizens to pursue their personal interests and joy won out. This victory was confirmed by waves of immigrants to America’s shores, from what I read, America was truly the land of opportunity. “To pursue happiness in such a land was quite rightly to pursue prosperity, to pursue pleasure, to pursue wealth” - says spark notes. The true definition of the American dream is an American social ideal that stresses egalitarianism and especially material prosperity; the prosperity of life,wealth and success.

I also read that Time magazine says, "People feel abandoned because these institutions used to be partners in dream achievement”. How can we think the government is trustworthy when we have 80 percent of Americans who don't trust our basic institutions? What this means is the dream doesn't stop, but how you get there is complicated now or different” My dream is that someday kids will not have to live in poverty. It makes me see how fortunate I am to have what I have. My other dream is for all wars to stop, and to declare world peace. All of this fighting is putting a bad impression on people, some think life is all about war, and we could live in a better place and be better people if we could all get along. to make the world a happier and more joyful place. I can achieve it by helping other people conquer sickness, hardships, and sadness. The world is a troubled place now. I hope I can make a difference. People all over the world are having tough times. War is killing many people and causing great sadness, and all the children recognize their potential and work to understand they can be the best in whatever they choose to do as a life work.

American Dream

I think the American Dream is that when people think or predict that there going to come to the United States and be very successful. I think American dream today is to live a better life. I think the negative parts about the Untied states is that if you want to come the United States you have to come with permission you cant just come with out permission. And the positive parts about the United States are that there more freedom and more jobs and somewhere to go out everyday, which would be very fun.

My American dream is to go to college and become a rich person something I would want to be or study for is a Medical Assistant or Engineer. But I also have another American dream is to become a professional soccer player. I’ve been playing soccer at the age of 5 years old.  I think my strengths out of all are in soccer in my opinion I think I’m good.  In my future I see me with great family and a big house with a lot of money. I Think something that could really stop me from being a pro soccer player is that if some hurts my leg and I could never walk or me having to quit because my mom is sick or my dad is sick but other than that I don’t think nothing else would stop me from soccer. And going to college I think maybe my grades could stop me cause there just times when I slack off in school.

I Would Define an American dream by explaining that the people who come in America have a dream. People who come to America want to be successful in there life, and there wife and kids or maybe just themselves. America’s dream have kinda changed in sorts of ways, Because Some people still go for there dreams. And some of them just don’t. The portative about America is that we have good people that work very hard, and try to make there dream’s become true. And then for the negative  there are some people who do bad stuff.  And don’t really care.     My America Dream is to become a teacher a special ed teacher to help special needs kids out. Because I like the way there are they are fun to be around and I could take my sister with me because she is special need herself.

I hope for my future the I will  be successful  Because I want to have a good life for me and my sister and family. To make them proud of me and so I can take care of my sister. Because it will be me and her, What I Think that will prevent me for my dreams are the negative stuff in my life. Boyfriend problems, Or going out  and partying or being lazy and just not do anything, But if  I keep my mind off of those things I will have no struggle in it. So I plan to just try to stay good for awhile and then go party and do whatever when I have reached my goal .
