Love at First Sight (Maryam)

Yes, I do think that it is very possible to fall in love at first sight. I think that it is something that happens in the subconscious mind, and that there is something strong between you and that person. Something about them just says that, that person is truly the one for you. In the play, they just knew that they were meant for each other.  So much so, that they chose death rather than live without each other.  In their mind, there was no one else for them.  Juliet was set to marry another man, but it was against her will. Romeo and Juliet’s parents did not want them to be together(due to a family feud that happened before any of these particular family members were born). They refuse to forgive and forget of their two families history. They did not keep this fight in the privacy of there own home.  This was knowledge to the whole community.  This fight was breaking the peace of Verona.  It just shows how the time as change from then to now. The play showed that when you were born, it was set to whom you would marry was determined by increasing the family by wealth back in the 1500’s.
