Why do so many students drop out in your opinion? What are
the consequences of dropping out? How do their futures end up? What are some
things that might keep kids interested in school?
I think all these students are dropping out because they
have given up all the things they did in their previous years of school are now
coming back to them. For example if they skipped a lot on freshman year they
failed classes stayed behind and had to take they freshman class again in
sophomore year. Also if they didn’t do their work in class or their homework
the zeros added up and messed up their grade. Because of this it made them stay
behind and have to re take classes. Sometimes they drop out because they wont
be going to college anyway so what’s the point they just decide to start
working & help their parents out. And the last reason would be teen
pregnancy guys have to leave school to take care of the baby & the girl
cant take care of the baby and keep up with her work at the same time. The consequences
are a lot. If you don’t have an education you wont get a good job that pays
good money because they wont take in people with out an education. You wont
have a good future because well you’ll be stupid. Maybe more activities that we
enjoy helping us with work and maybe things to keep us motivated like showing
us all the good things a good education can give us.
